Hydro Jetting in Montgomery County, PA

Drains that keep clogging after they’ve been snaked usually have grease, sludge or roots coating the inside of the pipe. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the pipe clean, so the clog does not come straight back.

How Hydro Jetting Works

A thorough cleaning, not just a hole punched through the clog.

1. Inspect the Line

We run a camera to see what is causing the clog and confirm the pipe is sound enough to jet.

2. Jet the Pipe

A specialized nozzle sprays high-pressure water forward and backward, scouring the pipe walls and flushing debris out.

3. Confirm It's Clear

We check the flow and can run the camera again so you can see the result.

When Hydro Jetting Makes Sense

A drain snake opens a path through a clog, which is often enough. But grease, soap scum, mineral scale and fine roots can coat the whole pipe, and a snake leaves most of that behind.

Hydro jetting cleans the full diameter of the pipe. It is a good choice for recurring clogs, main sewer lines, commercial kitchens and lines with root intrusion.

Recurring Clogs

Lines that keep backing up after snaking.

Grease Buildup

Kitchen and restaurant lines.

Tree Roots

Fine roots in sewer lines.

Scale and Sludge

Mineral and sludge coating the pipe.

If the same drain clogs every few months, ask for a camera inspection. It shows whether the line needs jetting, root removal or a repair.

Is Hydro Jetting Safe for My Pipes?

In sound pipes, yes. Pressure is set for the pipe size and material. That is why we inspect first: badly cracked, collapsed or very fragile pipe should be repaired rather than jetted.

If the camera shows broken pipe, we explain the repair options, including sewer line repair or replacement, before going further.

Camera First

We check the pipe before jetting.

Right Pressure

Set for the pipe size and material.

No Chemicals

Just water, no harsh drain cleaners.

Clear Results

Flow tested after cleaning.

Jetting a line before a sewer repair also gives a clear camera view, so the repair is planned on the real condition of the pipe.

Signs Your Drains Need More Than Snaking

These signs usually mean buildup along the whole pipe, not just a single clog.

Hydro Jetting FAQs

Hydro jetting cleans drain and sewer pipes with a high-pressure water stream that scours grease, sludge, scale and roots from the pipe walls and flushes them away.

Snaking is fine for a single clog. Jetting is better for recurring clogs, grease and root buildup because it cleans the full pipe instead of punching a hole through the blockage.

Not when the pipe is sound and the pressure is set correctly. We inspect with a camera first and recommend repair instead of jetting for badly damaged pipe.

Many busy kitchens benefit from jetting every few months. We can recommend a schedule after inspecting your lines.

Most residential lines take one to a few hours, including the camera inspection.
